Contributing to our community is important to us.
Our members work hard to serve and protect our city and surrounding communities.
At City & Police, we look to do our part as well. We enjoy giving back to our community, especially to those organizations or individuals who are part of the City & Police family.
Whether it’s showing up in person or providing our support financially, we value our community and will continue to do our best to play our part in making a difference.

Guns & Hoses Charity Boxing Event
Jacksonville’s Guns N’ Hoses event is put on by the Fraternal Order of Police Foundation. The boxers, who work side-by-side on a daily basis, have this once a year rivalry to raise money for charity. They have raised more than 1.6 million dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the FOP Foundation, which gives to several local charities.

Lunch & Learn Events
City and Police sponsors many Lunch & Learn events across the city each year. The credit union arranges financial presentations from certified financial planners and other guest speakers on a variety of financial topics. They are scheduled onsite at the employees’ place of work, and the credit union provides lunch.

Shooting with the Sheriff Event
City & Police is a proud supporter of the Sheriffs’ office of each county we serve. The Shooting with the Sheriff event proceeds benefit less fortunate children. The money donated goes to the ‘Shop w/ Cops’ event held annually by Nassau County which provides children the opportunity to go shopping with an officer and buy whatever they would like.

New Recruit Orientations
City & Police is a regular participant in new recruit orientations across the city of Jacksonville. We are honored to be able to visit with these newest JSO and other county law enforcement recruits to congratulate them and share the many benefits they are now eligible to receive as employees of the city of Jacksonville.
